how it works - overview

1. Become a freemer by adding some DVDs you’re willing to share to the library.

2. Find a DVD you’d like to borrow in the library and click on it.

3. Hit the Venmo link/button for the freemer who owns that DVD.

4. Get something fun in your mailbox for a change!

5. Mail a DVD to a friend who requests one. (We’ll show you how.)

step 1 - add some DVDs

1. Click on “join us.”

2. Fill out the form to join and tell us which DVDs you’re willing to share. We’ll add them to the library for you.

3. Feel really good about contributing.

step 3 - click the “borrow from…” button

1. That will open Venmo. In the “what’s this for?” section on your payment (of 73¢), list the title you’d like to borrow, the format (if there’s more than one available) and your home address. (By default, the payment is set to “private.”)

   NOTE: The Venmo button seems to mess up the first time you hit it, then works if you try it again. Not sure why, working on it.

step 5 - how to mail a DVD

1. Fold some paper around your DVD like they show you in this video.

2. Address it, put a stamp on it, drop it in the mail, and make someone’s day.
